How are they delivered?
In a protective Julep Box, for a great gifting experience.
Tell me about the ceramic pot?
Each plant arrives in a ceramic planter designed for Julep and handmade in Cape Town by the multi award-winning Mervyn Gers Ceramics team. Twenty-two pairs of hands work on the production of each pot, from making the clay to moulding, fettling, firing, glazing, and all the steps in between — a beautiful, durable piece of ceramic art, made with care. The pot is 14–15cm in diameter, and you'll choose your colour when ordering.
Can I remove the label?
Yes, the Julep label is designed to be easily removed by the recipient.
How do I care for it?
Each plant arrives with care tips tailored to that specific variety, so you'll know exactly how much light and water it needs from day one.
2. Your Gift Card & Personalisation
Can I add a message?
Absolutely. Write a free gift message before you add your product to your cart. It goes on the card inside the box.
Can I add a photo to my gift card?
Yes. You can upload a custom photo that we'll print on a premium glossy card alongside your gift message.
Will the recipient know how much I spent?
We don't include pricing, receipts, or invoices. Only your gift card and plant care tips.
3. Delivery & Timing
When and where do you deliver?
Monday to Friday, 13:00–16:00, in suburbs within Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town (R80–R100 delivery fee). Order before 10:00 for same-day delivery. Check our delivery information if you're unsure about your area.
What if no one's home for delivery?
Please make sure someone is available during afternoon delivery hours (13:00–16:00). If no one is home, our courier will contact you/the recipient or safely leave the box with security or a doorman.
4. Our Commitment
Our commitment is to take great care in preparing and delivering your order. If we ever fall short of this commitment, let us know and we will do what we can to make it up to you and the receiver.
